What Is A Salesman’s Sample Lighter?
Unlike a used (reconditioned) lighter, a salesman’s sample is a lighter that has been displayed and/or shown to customers from shop display cases or from manufacturer salesmen showing samples to distributors and the like. While they may have been handled and ignited, they are still not “used” as they have not been used to ignite cigarettes, cigars or pipes. They can vary slightly in little marks or scratches, and whatever wear there might be is reflected in the price. Each of these lighters is under the FULL, original S.T. Dupont Warranty.
